The Neighborhoods

MeadowView Terrace is divided into three separate and distinct neighborhoods, each with its own common areas. Designed to look as much like a real residence as possible, MeadowView Terrace has an open, airy and welcoming atmosphere.

Finch Lane, one of our three neighborhoods, is home to sixty of our residents. Bedrooms are arranged in clusters each accessing two central
dining rooms and an activity area.

Sundrop Court can accommodate thirty-six residents. These residents have their own dining room and activity area.

Meals are served in the cheerful dining rooms where our residents and their guests dine at tables tastefully set with linen and china. Meals are prepared with special attention given to likes, dislikes and dietary restrictions. Snacks are provided throughout the day.

Our Registered Dietitian works closely with residents and their families to assure an excellent dining experience.

Numerous gathering areas are scattered throughout our neighborhoods so residents, their families and friends may enjoy informal visits.

The large covered porch at the end of each neighborhood is a favorite spot in nice weather.

Our chapel is available for quiet time and meditation, and our Community Center hosts numerous group activities and special events.

A comprehensive program of social, spiritual, physical and educational activities helps residents remain connected to their world so they can continue life long interests, enhance physical, intellectual and creative abilities and even learn new skills.

Our activity bus, equipped with lockdowns for wheelchairs, allows residents to participate in community events and enjoy a variety of unique outings.

Primrose Park is our self-contained, twenty-four bed neighborhood designed for people in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and similar memory disorders. Our specially trained staff embraces the Alzheimer Care Enrichment Philosophy set forth by the National Alzheimer’s Association.

Each resident is recognized as a unique individual, and our staff makes it a point to know and understand what matters to each person.

Care is directed towards meaningful daily events and the development of close relationships. Our country kitchen and laundry areas allow our residents to be assisted in familiar daily life activities.

And because we understand that people with Alzheimer’s Disease like to wander, Primrose Park has been designed to allow each resident the freedom to move safely throughout the neighborhood.

Residents living on Primrose Park who enjoy being outside, can leisurely stroll through our
specially designed Serenity Garden.

The completely enclosed area is a safe place to be while enjoying the flowers, watching the birds and butterflies, or just standing in the shade of a tree. Continuous walking paths that wind throughout the garden lead back to the porches and into the building.
